There can be a lot to take in when your Fertility Specialist first explains the plan for your fertility treatment and we understand it can be hard trying to get your head around the steps involved and what you need to do when. Especially because you want to give yourself the best chance of your treatment being successful.
Your nursing team and patient relationship coordinator will explain the process for your specific treatment in detail but we have also included information over the following pages should you want to dig a little deeper or need a refresher.
We’ve also outlined your options for support during your treatment – whether you’re looking for emotional support through counselling or if acupuncture for stress release is what you need, especially during the wait to find out if your treatment has been successful - the challenging two week wait (2WW).
Sometimes reading about other people’s experiences can be a good way to gain some perspective on your own situation. Our patients often tell us hearing that they’re not alone in having trouble conceiving helped them cope better with their own journey.
