Dr Ebony Wong cares deeply about ensuring people can access high quality fertility treatment to give them the best chance of starting and growing their family. Ebony acknowledges the privilege of being part of such a personal and important journey with her patients and derives great pleasure from seeing them achieve the outcome they so dearly wanted.
Ebony is a member of the Fertility Specialist team at Genea Elements IVF. She is also Staff Specialist, Obstetrics at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), Camperdown and a Visiting Medical Officer and Surgical Assistant at the Mater Hospital.
Ebony completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney before going on to study a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery also at the University of Sydney for which she graduated with honours. She subsequently completed a Master of Medicine in Reproductive Health and Human Genetics from the University of Sydney and in 2020 was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Alongside university education, Ebony has undertaken extensive training in specialty obstetrics and gynaecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility at RPAH. In 2019, Ebony was a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellow at RPAH.
Ebony is keenly involved in teaching the next generation of medical students and is currently an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar and JMO Teacher. During her spare time, Ebony enjoys playing a variety of instruments and is a dedicated volunteer with a number of organisations include the Salvation Army, Red Cross, World Vision and Anglicare.
