Experience & Qualifications
Helen achieved a first class honours degree in Science at The University of Melbourne, which led to her working in the field of medical research. Her desire to have a greater clinical involvement led Helen to study medicine at The University of Sydney. After she completed Medicine, Helen undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Westmead Hospital and later at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
It was during her time training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology that Helen developed an interest in infertility and reproductive medicine and so she went on to complete sub-specialty training in these areas at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Genea.
Helen has also achieved a Master of Human Reproduction and Human Genetics and as a part of those studies completed a research project which investigated the role of MTHFR polymorphism on recurrent miscarriage.
